MoTeC is renowned the world over as a leading designer and manufacturer of specialist automotive electronics, supplying the global motorsport industry for over 30 years. Our recent acquisition by the Bosch Group has brought about exciting new opportunities and an immediate need for expansion. We are looking for an experienced Dispatch Officer with a can-do approach to join our fantastic team at our Clayton global Head Office.
The role will include the following:
Process customer orders for both hardware and software products, ensuring accurate and timely dispatch, with same-day turnaround achieved wherever possible.
Accurately pick, pack, and invoice customer orders in accordance with customer requirements and company procedures.
Arrange courier bookings and shipping documentation to ensure efficient delivery to domestic and international customers.
Verify customer delivery details, shipping instructions, and order accuracy prior to dispatch.
Provide professional customer service by responding to customer enquiries, resolving delivery issues, and communicating order status as required.
Receive parts and materials into inventory through the Purchase Order (PO) receipting process and store items in their designated stock locations.
Assemble and maintain kit stock in accordance with sales requirements.
Monitor inventory levels and notify the Purchasing team when stock reaches minimum reorder quantities to ensure continuity of supply.
Reorganize stock locations and storage allocations as required to optimise warehouse space and accommodate new inventory. Ensure all location changes are accurately updated in the ERP system.
Assist with periodic stocktakes, cycle counts, and inventory audits to maintain stock accuracy.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse and dispatch area.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance dispatch efficiency, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
