Event Staff - Sydney Motorsport Park

We’re recruiting friendly, reliable and proactive Casual Event Staff to support a reputable environmental services organisation at a major motorsport event at Sydney Motorsport Park.

Working as part of the on-site event team, you’ll help patrons locate recycling and waste stations, provide general assistance and help ensure recycling areas remain organised throughout the event.

This is a busy outdoor motorsport environment, so you’ll need to be comfortable spending extended periods on your feet and working around large crowds, outdoor conditions and potentially loud motorsport noise.

Responsibilities

Directing event patrons to recycling and waste stations Providing friendly and helpful information to guests Encouraging correct use of recycling and waste stations Answering general event and location queries where required Monitoring recycling stations and keeping surrounding areas organised Occasionally assisting with changing/removing bags from recycling stations Following instructions from the on-site event team Helping maintain a safe, welcoming and well-organised environment

Your Profile

Friendly, approachable and confident communicating with the public Reliable and punctual, with the ability to commit to your full allocated shift Comfortable working outdoors and being on your feet for extended periods Comfortable working in a busy and potentially loud motorsport environment Positive attitude and willingness to help where required Able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team Previous event, hospitality, customer service, promotions or similar experience is advantageous but not essential
