What we're looking for:
This is a full-time, on-site role for a CNC Machinist based at the team's racing HQ in Stapylton, QLD. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for operating and handling machinery, performing precision milling and turning on Haas CNCs, and ensuring all operations meet high-quality standards.
The role also includes maintaining equipment, troubleshooting technical issues, and closely monitoring the manufacturing process to deliver products that meet the team's performance expectations. Required Qualifications
- Certificate III or IV in Engineering (Mechanical Trade) or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience operating CNC machines (lathe, mill, or both)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong understanding of machining principles, tolerances, and tooling
- Experience with CNC programming (Haas or similar)
- Competent in measuring and inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Understanding of workplace safety practices and procedures
- Ability to collaborate with a high-performance team in a fast-paced environment
Other requirements:
- Working rights in Australia
- Valid drivers licence
- 3+ years of work experience with machining
