YOUR ROLE IN A NUTSHELL:

The Digital Executive will be responsible for the meticulous management of the content production schedule, which includes briefing internal and external video editing resources. You’ll will own the production workflow for social and digital video outputs.

As an integral part of the high-performing Supercars Digital team, which creates, distributes and monetises content across the Supercars’ digital ecosystem, the Digital Executive will be responsible for managing and growing the Super2 Series social media accounts; from collaborative ideation, content creation (internal and external), scheduling, and benchmarking.

During non-race weeks, you will assist in the planning٫ execution and optimisation of our social media and digital content program. On race weekends you’ll work in a live-sport environment, creating and distributing content from the central hub in Sydney, and traveling to select events Nationally.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Content production

Managing content production flow with external and internal production teams, including briefing, calendar, and end-to-end content delivery of digital video outputs

Ideate and create content for the Super2, including design of static tiles and short form video content.

Assist in the ideation and content creation for the Supercars and Bathurst 12 Hour social pages

Manage the internal digital requests portal for content updates to the Supercars website

Live event coverage during race weekends

Collaboration and Stakeholder management

Liaise with internal partners to manage the internal cross-functional briefing process digital content

Receive and interpret briefs from internal and external partners in order to brief and manage the production workflow of internal and external resources

Benchmarking and performance reporting

Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google Analytics٫ native social reporting etc.)

Acquire insight in online marketing trends and use strategies current to market

Collaborate with the digital team’s creative process by providing insightful٫ data-led and trends-influenced creative ideas for content marketing

Attend cross-functional meetings and present reporting, insights and trends

KEY REQUIREMENTS (SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS)

2+ years’ proven experience as a Social Media Executive or similar role

Experience agency side, or within a sports & entertainment is preferred, but not mandatory

Outstanding knowledge and understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices

Experience in managing Social Platforms for organisations (Instagram, FB, TikTok, YouTube etc)

High proficiency in video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro + native device editing)

High proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
