Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to join one of Australia's leading Motorsport Merchandisers as a Graphic Designer. As an experienced mid-weight Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for developing designs and concepts across merchandise apparel and products as well as working in digital print mediums .

Motorsport Distributors Group (MDG) is just as it names suggests, a motorsport merchandise distribution hub. Not only do we import and distribute official Supercars, Formula 1 and Moto GP merchandise through our various ecommerce websites, but we also design, manufacture and retail merchandise at major motorsport events including; F1, MotoGP, Supercars and even Air Shows. We manage a variety of online retail shops and run retail programs both nationally and internationally across approximately 20 events every year.  Reporting to the Lead Graphic Designer your key responsibilities will be as follows:

  • Liaise with Lead Graphic Designer and Senior Account Manager with regards to client deliverables 
  • Create Artwork for Merchandise (Clothing, Accessories, Headwear, Promotion Material)
  • Product mock-up creation
  • Produce Final Arts/Strike offs
  • Oversee the creation of Advertising and promotional material for both digital and print
  • Creation of Presentations and catalogues for client pitches.
  • Basic video creation using Adobe software preferred but not essential 
  • Work in conjunction with the design team to ensure the client expectations are met and graphic art is produced on time and in an accurate visually appealing manner
  • When required attend client briefings to ensure a full understanding of client expectations is met relating to artwork presentations
  • Touching up photos and artwork
  • Share all resource folders with the appropriate people, ensure the resource folders are kept up to date. 

With tertiary qualifications in graphic/digital design and proficiency using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), you pride yourself on your attention to detail and ability to multitask as well as prioritise your time accordingly. Fab communication skills, a team approach, and a genuine love of fashion & trends will put you on the path to success in this role.

Skills and qualifications:

  • Understanding and proficiency across the Adobe Software Suite - including but not limited to Photoshop, Illustrator and In Design
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Previous experience in developing Graphic art within the apparel space (Highly Regarded)
  • Design or Graphic Art degree
