Are you passionate about motorsport, performance vehicles and precision electrical work? IPS Tuning is looking for an experienced Motorsports Wiring Technician / Auto Electrician to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys solving complex electrical problems and wants to work on high-performance vehicles and motorsport projects.

About the role

You will be responsible for wiring, installing, configuring and diagnosing electrical systems across race cars and performance vehicles. We’re looking for someone with strong technical knowledge, excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing work to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Wiring and installation of motorsport electrical systems
• ECU installation, setup and configuration
• Data logging system installation and setup
• Electrical diagnosis, troubleshooting and fault finding
• Electrical work on race cars and high-performance vehicles
• Fabrication and installation of wiring harnesses
• Testing and validating electrical systems to ensure reliability and performance
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship, organisation and attention to detail

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven experience as an automotive electrician, motorsport wiring technician or in a similar role
• Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and wiring practices
• Experience with ECU installations and data logging systems
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• The ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical documentation
• A high level of attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A passion for motorsport, performance vehicles and automotive technology

Motorsport or performance vehicle experience will be highly regarded.
