Hampton Downs Motorsport Park and Events Centre is looking for a commercially driven, relationship-focused Partnerships Manager to lead our sales and partnership activity. If you love the chase of a great deal, thrive on building long-term relationships, we would love to hear from you.

About Hampton Downs

Hampton Downs Motorsport Park and Events Centre is one of the most respected motorsport venues in the Southern Hemisphere. Internationally recognised and purpose-built to world-class standards, it plays host to everything from international racing series to corporate days, driver training and large-scale events. It is a place where adrenaline, hospitality and big business genuinely collide.

About the Quinn Group

Hampton Downs is part of the wider Quinn Group, a portfolio of leading motorsport, tourism and events businesses across New Zealand. The group also includes Taupo Motorsport Park, Highlands Motorsport Park, and NextGen NZ.  Joining Hampton Downs means joining a network of like-minded venues, people and opportunities right across the country.

The Role

This is a relationship-first role, and we are not shy about that. You will own the full sales relationship cycle across signage and sponsorship, circuit hire, suite and corporate hospitality, corporate functions, and driver training programmes, and you will play an active part in growing our presence at Taupo Motorsport Park too. You will work closely with our operations, marketing and finance teams, but the relationships you build and the deals you close will be yours.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Proactively identifying, pitching to and closing new business across all our key revenue lines
  • Managing and growing relationships with existing clients, sponsors and partners
  • Keeping a tidy, accurate pipeline in our CRM (your future self will thank you)
  • Negotiating contracts and packages that work for both sides and are genuinely win/win
  • Reporting on your numbers and contributing to budgets and forecasts

What We Are Looking For

We need someone with at least five years of genuine sales experience, who is confident running their own day and does not need a manager looking over their shoulder. You will know your way around a CRM, you will know how to build a relationship that lasts longer than one transaction, and you will know how to close.

Here is the good news. This is an internationally renowned, world-class facility with a reputation that does the talking before you even walk in the room. You will not need to sweeten a deal with a free set of Ginsu steak knives or a late-night infomercial pitch. The product sells itself. Your job is simply to be brilliant at connecting the right people to it.

You will bring

  • A minimum of 5 years proven sales experience, with a track record of hitting targets
  • Confidence using a CRM system to manage your pipeline and reporting
  • A genuine ability to work autonomously and manage your own priorities
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • A professional, proactive approach and a good sense of humour for when race day chaos meets corporate hospitality

How to Apply

We are not waiting around for a closing date. We will be reviewing and interviewing as applications come in, so if this role looks like you, do not sit on it.

Apply today with your CV and a short cover note telling us why you are the right fit.

We look forward to hearing from you.
