About the role

MPW PERFORMANCE AND RACE FAB' is seeking a motivated Apprentice Fabricator to join our team in Keysborough, VIC. As an Apprentice Fabricator, you will be responsible for assisting with the fabrication, repair, and maintenance of a variety of metal components and structures. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to develop your skills and gain valuable experience in the Trades & Services industry.

What you'll be doing

1. Assist experienced fabricators in the assembly, welding, and finishing of metal components
2. Learn and apply various metal fabrication techniques, including cutting, bending, and joining
3. Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
4. Operate and maintain fabrication equipment, such as welding machines, grinders, and power tools
5. Perform quality checks and ensure adherence to safety standards
6. Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the workshop environment
7. Participate in on-the-job training and complete your apprenticeship program
