The Role

As an Auto Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, testing, diagnostics, and integration of electrical systems across heavy vehicles.

This hands-on role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving, precision work, and working with advanced technologies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete pre-delivery inspections and prepare vehicles to OEM standards
• Carry out electrical installations, integrations and modifications on heavy vehicles
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults and associated mechanical systems
• Perform testing, fault finding, and quality inspections
• Identify and report additional faults while maintaining accurate repair documentation
• Coordinate parts requirements and manage warranty or exchange components
• Safely operate workshop equipment including forklifts, hand tools, and power tools
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
• Support production and workshop teams with general tasks as required

Skills & Experience:

• Trade qualified Automotive Electrician
• Background or qualifications in Electrical Engineering (desirable)
• Strong understanding of heavy vehicle electrical systems with an automotive background
• Strong fault-finding and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced technical environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• HR License (advantageous)
• Forklift License (advantageous)
