About the role 

As a Facilities Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment across all operational areas of the venue – from our public grandstands and pit buildings to premium corporate suites and function rooms. You will work as part of a close-knit team to ensure that guests, clients, and staff enjoy a high-quality experience at every event.

This is not a housekeeping role – there is no room servicing cleaning. Instead, your focus will be on our high-traffic event spaces, corporate hospitality areas, and operational facilities.

Conveniently located one hour from Adelaide and only half a day’s drive from Melbourne. The Bend is one of a kind in providing all motorsport disciplines ‘through the one gate.’ including circuit racing for cars and motorcycles, Australia’s only purpose-built drift circuit, a CIK-FIA standard karting circuit, a rallycross circuit, an international Group 1 Dragway, driver training facilities, vehicle testing facilities, a 4WD terrain park and a rally/off-road facility.

What will you be responsible for?

• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of a variety of venue areas including spectator zones, garages, hospitality suites, and corporate facilities
• Complete general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces
• Clean and restock restrooms and shared facilities to the highest hygiene standards
• Conduct routine inspections and report maintenance needs or facility issues
• Execute deep-cleaning and special cleaning projects as required
• Ensure cleaning supplies are well-stocked and storage areas are orderly
• Perform minor repairs and adjustments as needed
• Communicate effectively with the Facilities team and management to report any concerns or recurring issues

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking individuals who take pride in their work and bring a positive, can-do attitude to every shift. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Integrity, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility
• Previous experience in a commercial cleaning or similar operational role
• Availability to work over a 7 day roster
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced, event-driven environment
• Current National Police Clearance (issued within the last 6 months)
• Current Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Experience in a sporting, events, or corporate environment will be highly regarded.
