The Opportunity

We are expanding our manufacturing capacity by establishing a second shift, and we need an exceptional CNC Operator to make it happen. This is a career-defining role offering a blend of production work and new product development — all within the world of motorsport.

You will join a tight-knit technical team whose knowledge and passion for the industry is second to none. Full training is provided. You will be working alongside world leaders in motorsport manufacturing from day one.

Key Responsibilities

–      Operate a high-capacity CNC camshaft grinding machine to the highest precision standards.

–      Contribute to increasing manufacturing output through disciplined second-shift production.

–      Support new product development — helping bring first-to-market products to our global client base.

–      Build and maintain the deep technical knowledge required to uphold Kelford's 50+ year reputation for quality.

–      Collaborate closely with the broader engineering team to identify and solve manufacturing challenges.

What We're Looking For

–      3+ years' experience operating a variety of CNC machines.

–      Background in camshaft or cylindrical grinding highly regarded.

–      Motorsport knowledge or genuine enthusiasm for the industry is a strong advantage.

–      Self-driven, energetic, and meticulous — you take quality personally.

–      A team player who thrives on challenge and takes pride in exceptional work.
