ABOUT KELFORD CAMS

Since 1968, Kelford Cams has built an enviable global reputation for producing superior quality racing camshafts for the high-performance automotive aftermarket industry. As a New Zealand company, we are privately owned and remain true to our roots — giving our customers the power to win by designing and manufacturing superior cams and valve train components that produce winning results all from our manufacturing facility in Woolston, Christchurch.

We pride ourselves on high levels of knowledge and service, and our ability to solve problems that others give up on. With significant investment in new equipment, US and UK warehouse facilities, and new products driving growth, we are excited to expand our team.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and reliable CNC lathe operator to join our team. The successful candidate will have a thirst for knowledge, an eye for detail, and a desire to deliver fantastic service to our customers — a passion for motorsport would be a bonus.

You will need to be reliable, able to work to time constraints, accurate, and — perhaps most importantly — approachable and enthusiastic. We have a positive culture at Kelford Cams which we are proud to maintain. Due to the complexity of our products, an extended learning process will be required to transfer knowledge from some of the industry's leading minds.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

CNC operators report directly to the Operations Manager and will be primarily responsible for:

–    Accurate production of valve train accessories

–    Contribution to new product development

–    Adhering to listed tolerances without exception

–    Maintaining a very keen eye for detail throughout all production tasks

COMPANY CULTURE

We have a great team at Kelford Cams. We value our team members and their contributions — not just to the customer, but within the team culture as well. We value new ideas, new methods, and are always looking to be at the leading edge of motorsport manufacturing.

GROWTH & OPPORTUNITY

Kelford is currently in a phase of significant growth. With 3PL warehousing in the US, a newly established warehouse in the UK, and efforts to open another in Europe, we won't be slowing down anytime soon. This is an exciting time to join our team and grow with us.

If you want to be part of a company rich in motorsport history — and racing into the future — apply now.
