The Role:

We are currently seeking skilled CNC Machinists to join our growing manufacturing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with precision components across a variety of materials in an organisation at the forefront of cutting-edge technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Machinery to manufacture precision components from materials such as metal
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings and job specifications.
• Interpret and write basic CNC programs as required
• Understand and perform tool wear offsets
• Use and understand gages and precision measuring instruments
• Adjust machine settings including control speed, material feed and tool paths to ensure optimal performance
• Maintain machinery and ensure consistent production of high-quality components
• Working alongside team members to make a positive contribution to the team’s output and results.

About you:

• Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Prior experience operating CNC machinery
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and strong mechanical aptitude
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe and organised workspace
• Physically fit and capable of working in a hands-on environment
