The Role:

You’ll be working in a modern machine shop finishing aluminium components after CNC machining. Using hand tools such as grinders, files, and sanders, you’ll ensure parts meet high-quality standards before moving to the next stage.

You’ll have your own workstation and work alongside experienced tradespeople in a team that values consistency, quality, and teamwork.

This role suits Trade Assistants, workshop workers, automotive technicians, or anyone with hands-on experience looking to move into manufacturing.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Use hand tools (grinders, files, sanders) to finish machined aluminium parts
• Remove sharp edges and imperfections to meet quality standards
• Inspect parts and identify surface defects
• Support CNC operations (loading/unloading components)
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace

About You

• Experience in a workshop, manufacturing, automotive, or hands-on role preferred
• Comfortable using tools and working with metal
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable with a good work ethic
• Able to stand and focus for extended periods
• Available for day, afternoon, or night shifts
• Interest in learning CNC machining (highly regarded)
