We’re looking for an experienced Sheetmetal Machine Operator to take full ownership of our workshop machines.

This position plays a vital role in delivering precision, quality, and reliability across every stage of manufacturing.
Key responsibilities include:
- Operating a range of advanced sheet metal processing equipment, including flatbed and tube lasers, CNC press brakes, CNC tube mandrel bending machines, robotic welding systems, vibratory finishing machines, and band saws
- Managing stock control of raw materials such as sheet, plate, tube, and consumables
- Performing routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance
- Producing high-quality sheet metal components to exacting standards
- Maintaining clean, safe, and organized work areas
- Conducting initial and batch inspections to uphold strict quality control throughout production
- Interpreting technical drawings and working to tight tolerances with precision
- Packing finished goods carefully, ensuring they are ready for shipment to customers
- Working independently while maintaining efficiency and accountability
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience operating sheet metal or CNC machinery (laser, press brake, tube bending or similar)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work to tight tolerances
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety
- Experience with quality checks and inspections during production
- Good understanding of workshop practices, tools, and materials
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Physically capable of handling manual tasks in a manufacturing environment
- Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
