 About the Role

Are you passionate about people, learning and making HR work in the real world?

We’re looking for a proactive, hands‑on HR professional who enjoys working across the full spectrum of HR activities and shares our passion to support & develop our volunteer officials.

 Key responsibilities include:

·         Coordinate end-to-end recruitment, including contracts, onboarding, and induction

·         Maintain employee records across the employee lifecycle

·         Support engagement, development, and social initiatives

·         Facilitate safety & wellbeing programs for employees

·         Assist with training program development, materials, and capability pathways for Officials

·         Assist with coordinating training delivery, logistics, and stakeholder liaison

·         Support training evaluation and continuous improvement

·         Assist with Officials recruitment and event activations

·         Contribute to engagement and participation across officiating pathways

 About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

·         Degree qualification in HR or similar

·         Demonstrated experience (2 – 3 years) in a HR generalist or administrative role

·         Experience coordinating training or learning programs

·         Strong attention to detail and project management skills

·         Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

·         Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively across multiple administrative functions

·         Interest in supporting capability development, learning, and training within a sporting or volunteer environment

·         Experience working within sport or volunteer organisation highly regarded

 This role is based at our office in Canterbury, Melbourne, with flexibility to work some hours from home.  We will offer you a supportive learning environment and a great team culture. This role may involve some after-hours support.
