Taupo International Motorsport Park and Events Centre is part of the largest group of motorsport parks in Australasia. Our facilities are exceptional, and they’re supported by a dedicated and passionate team of people. 

We are on the hunt for an energetic, forward-thinking, and experienced Sales Executive, who possesses exceptional organisational skills and thrives in fast-paced environments.    You'll be a hunter, experienced in the art of the hustle and understand that a no is just a "not right now"

Taupō Motorsport Park hosts a range of large motorsport events each year, as well as conferences and groups. It is a destination for events and tourism activities, it also boasts an exclusive ‘country-club’ style motorsport club (GT Membership).  

The successful candidate will be responsible for selling the park - from functions, to drive days, to team building days, to go-kart events, as well as supporting the logistics of functions and the GT Membership. Internal and external customer service and the ability to multitask are top priorities. 

While motorsport experience is not required, previous sales experience is a must, and having a delivery background would be a bonus.

The profile of the ideal candidate:   

Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively and confidently with a wide range of people.  

Experience working in a sales role – minimum 4 years. 

Experience in function or event delivery. 

Excel at establishing and maintaining positive relationships. 

Confidence to seek out leads and new business opportunities.  

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise deadlines and workload. 

Sound analysis, problem-solving and decision-making skills. 

Flexible approach to work with an ability to adapt to change. 

Meticulous with an eye for detail. 

Have a proactive, positive, and can-do attitude. 

Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of the role. 

Holder of a Duty Manager's Liquor Service certificate or have the ability to get one.
