Drive Performance Behind the Scenes at Triple Eight Race Engineering

Championships aren’t won on race day — they’re built in the workshop.

At Triple Eight Race Engineering, Australia’s most successful motorsport team, precision is everything. Timing matters. Accuracy is non-negotiable. Teamwork wins championships.

We’re looking for an experienced Stores / Customer Service Manager to take full ownership of our workshop storeroom — the operational heartbeat behind our race builds, production programs, and customer orders.

If you thrive where urgency meets organisation, this is your opportunity to play a critical role in a championship-winning environment.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will lead a small, high-performing team and ensure every component is controlled, traceable, and available exactly when required.

Your role directly supports race programs, vehicle builds, and customer operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a 2–4 person Stores team in a fast-paced workshop
  • Manage customer orders end-to-end: quoting, sales, invoicing, and delivery
  • Maintain accurate Stores data within the ERP system
  • Forecast and manage stock levels to support race and production schedules
  • Oversee domestic and international freight and logistics
  • Ensure accurate receipting, issuing, and inventory control
  • Identify critical components to prevent build delays
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound parts logistics
  • Collaborate with Management, BDM, Production, and Workshop teams
  • Operate MYOB at an advanced level for financial and stock control
  • Maintain efficient, structured storage systems
  • Drive accountability, communication, and team performance
  • Deliver under strict race and build deadlines

About You

You’re calm under pressure, highly organised, and driven by high standards.

You understand that small errors can have major consequences — and you take pride in getting every detail right.

You Bring

  • 5+ years’ experience in stores, inventory, or logistics management
(motorsport, automotive, or manufacturing highly regarded)
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisation
  • Strong ERP experience (MYOB Advanced / Acumatica / NetSuite preferred)
  • Ability to prioritise in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments
  • Clear and confident communication skills
  • A proactive, self-managed mindset
  • Valid Australian driver’s licence and full working rights

Formal qualifications aren’t essential — proven experience and attitude are.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a championship-winning motorsport organisation
  • Work in a true high-performance racing environment
  • Stable, full-time weekday role
  • Direct impact on race and production success
  • Join a team where standards — and pride — are equally high

Behind every podium finish is a workshop that runs flawlessly.

If you’re ready to own that responsibility, we want to hear from you.
