About the Role

PWR is experiencing an exciting period of growth, and we’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Australian team on a 12-month fixed term contract.

This role will focus exclusively on supporting hiring across our Australian operations, with a strong emphasis on engineering, manufacturing, and production based roles.

Working closely with hiring managers, you will take ownership of end-to-end recruitment, partnering with the business to understand workforce needs, prioritize hiring activity, and deliver high quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers across Australian operations to understand workforce requirements and build effective hiring plans.
  • Develop targeted sourcing strategies to attract engineering, production and manufacturing talent within the Australian market.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including screening, interviewing, offer management and onboarding support.
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines, particularly within hard to fill technical and trade based roles.
  • Deliver a positive candidate experience aligned with PWR’s values – Respect, Passion and Teamwork.
  • Track recruitment activity and key hiring metrics to ensure efficient and effective delivery.
  • Support employer branding initiatives within the Australian market.

About You

  • Proven experience in talent acquisition (agency or in-house), with the ability to manage end to end recruitment processes
  • Comfortable running high-volume recruitment and managing multiple roles at once in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident conducting phone screens, shortlisting and moving candidates quickly through process
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and keep hiring managers informed and aligned
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines
  • Resilient and adaptable, able to navigate changing priorities and recruitment challenges
  • A collaborative team player who is solutions focused and always looking for ways to improve processes
