About the role

JW Motorsport NZ Limited is seeking a talented Marketing Assistant. This is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a growing company with building the company's and, commercial presence, and business opportunities within the motorsport industry. The role is responsible for planning and delivering marketing initiatives that increase public awareness, strengthen the company's reputation, coaching clients, development of young drivers and commercial partners.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels including digital, social media, email and traditional advertising
  • Assist in the creation and editing of marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and social media content.
  • Manage and schedule social media posts, monitor engagement and respond to customer inquiries across platforms
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within budget
  • Assist in organising marketing events, sponsorships and promotional activities
  • Monitor marketing performance metrics and provide insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Support the team with administrative tasks including scheduling, correspondence and documentation

What we're looking for

  • A qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop or relative marketing tools and software
  • Great graphic design, photography and videography skills are high desirable
  • Experience with social media platforms and content creation
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A passion for the motorsport industry or automotive sector is highly desirable
  • Creativity and the ability to generate fresh ideas for campaigns and promotional activities
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach
  • Numeracy skills and the ability to work with data and analytics
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills within a fast-paced environment
